Fundamental Truth #1
The greatest NES game of all time is Marble Madness.
I gush endlessly about my love for Mario and The Legend of Zelda, but the greatest game for the NES was this unassuming and completely forgotten gem of a game called Marble Madness in which you, as a marble, must navigate several challenging mazes to get to a goal.
This game rocks my massive shlong. It's so simple and yet, so genious! There's no princesses to save, no magic mushrooms, triforces, or anything! Just get to the finish line. Not to mention, the soundtrack for this game is probably the greatest electronic score to grace an 80's video game.
They shoud be cranking out sequels on the Wii or the Xbox 360. This game was and still is amazing AND the best that the NES ever had.
Deal with it.
