There is a lot of "internet Speak" on these sites, so lets get a running dictionary of words and definitions going to help new members understand what the hell we are talking about, ok?

Admin : Your lords and masters here at 2TheJungle.com See: Bribe

Alias: A members username on the site. Do not be concerned if other members make up cutesy little nicknames for your alias, because sometimes whole words are just to hard to type out. Ex: "darkie" for "Darkanda"; "bb" for "babiebec"; "dumbass" for "eddo"

All Caps: A style of writing on the internet that uses only capital letters, which is both annoying and hard to read. Much like Exclamation Point, constant use of All Caps cheapens the effect. Occasional use of one or two words in All Caps will add emphasis to that word, but again, overuse cheapens the effect. Make note: Overuse cheapens the effect.

asshat: a member known for wearing his or her buttocks as a form of headgear.
Variation:asshattery: Act of displaying your asshattedness

Arse: Somehow less offensive than the word "Ass" when describing a person or body part. (See: English Term)

B

Bah: (1) A social hangout for many wishing to drown their sorrows in a tall glass of something toxic. (2) Where DTR hangs out.

Bandwagon: (1) a once unpopular view that has recently become popular, thus causing many people that previously would not have supported the view to now offer their full support. (2) a group of cronies or flying monkeys that agree with whatever the target of their affection says, no matter what.

Bastid: Slang pronunciation of bastard, usually by New Yorkers or those from Boston, with extra emphasis on the "bast" part of the word.

Batshit: A level of insanity that the word alone cannot justify. Usable as a prefix Batshit insane or on its own.
Variation: Batshittery: the practice of being batshit crazy

BCARism: Words of wisdom from a wise man.

Beer Looter: Katrina victim that has grown to epic and iconic social status, particularly among worshippers of Ghoombah. (unofficial site mascot)

bitch: (1) A person who is sarcastic for no apparent reason. (2) A woman who holds high opinion of herself, again for no reason apparent to anyone with a brain (3) a female dog (See number 2)

Bollocks: (1) English Term A term used to describe something which isn't true. (2) The definition of most of that which Power says (3) Another part of the male anatomy, mostly found dangling beneath the member Syn: testes, testicles, dogs danglies, gooseberies, grapefruit, balls, nuts

Bribe: Best way to get on an admins good side. Nudie pics and cash work best.

bump: (1) A self-serving reply to a post in a sad attempt to bring it to the top of the "recently Replied To" page. (2) That disgusting ass thing on emkay's back, but we don't talk about it.

Butt Darts: (1) a redneck game played at the bah that has nothing to do with darts. (2) a bedroom game for homosexuals.

C

Chewing your monkey: Virginian term for Masturbation. I think. Syn: Choking the chicken; spanking the monkey; rubbing one out; Wasting DNA; slapping the salami, etc

Comment: A reply to a post.

"Copy & Paste": Tactic used by many to convey a thought not original to themselves. Often tossed about during debates when one side is unable to put anymore coherent thoughts together on their own. Also could include personal messages, e-mails, or other various forms of blackmail. Also known simply as "C&P"

Cronies: A group of followers that seemingly jump out of nowhere whenever their leader is attacked. see: Groupie

CryBaby: A derogatory term, describing one who comes out to play, can't stand the heat and the runs back home and tells tales... Derived from the actions of an actual baby, who has no recourse but to cry until they are satisified. examples: oops, 'censored.' Closely related to: Drama Queen/Whore, Weepy Vagina

D

Dart Tossin' Rube (DTR): A sad individual that Ali enjoys making cry.

Death: (1) Then end of life. (2) Term used by some to create sympathy and/or a new alias thus causing immense amounts of drama.- see: Drama Whore

Discussion Board: What 2thejungle.com is. Posts at a discussion board, by definition, should invoke discussion.

Douchebag: Remnants after a female cleans her genital region: Not worth much, and a little smelly. Although, some do get their kicks by being around douchebags.

Drama Queen/Whore: One who lives and thrives on internet drama. Is unhappy if they are not the center of attention, or current hottest topic of discussion. Could be male or female.

dropping the soap: Moob and Darkanda's favorite shower game.

dumbass: Idiot. Moron. Room temperature IQ. Tard. Democrat.

E

English term: short for "English terminology." (1) Useless made up words that we have to tolerate due to the site owner and her husband being from England Example: bollocks, wanker, arse, etc. (2) The unnecessary addition of random "u"'s in words. Example: colour, flavour, etc (3) Contrary to history books, English Terms are the real cause of the American Revolution.

Exclamation Point: is usually used after an interjection or exclamation to indicate strong feeling. Warnings: (1) Use exclamation points sparingly, and never use more than one in a single sentence. No one wants to read sentences like this!!! (2)Do not end everything you write with an exclamation point, as this cheapens the effect of using it to begin with.

F

Fanny: (1) American term for the part you sit on. (2) English Term for the part with which a lady of the night makes her money. (3) Verb 'To fanny around' - to skirt the issue, mess around.

fixer: (1) One who fixes broken things. (2) slang:One who takes it upon themselves to tell someone else who to be. Typically done in a rude, hypocritical manner while bursting into a conversation you're no part of and saying something idiotic like ..."You know wez, it's not your job to fix everyone" For "fixer" slang origin, see "pretentious jackass"

Fluff: Disease similar to the substance which you find behind your clothes dryer- Soft and often warm, but pretty much useless. Contagious.

Flying Monkey: lower class of Lurker whose sole purpose it to watch the site and report back all violations so that comments have to get deleted to keep Babiebec and Feckless Wench out of trouble.

frack: No one knows.

f ucktard: A contraction of "f ucking retard" f ucking + retard = f ucktard

f uckwit: A person who is not only lacking in clue but is apparently unable or unwilling to acquire clue even when handed it on a plate in generous portions.

G

Ghoombah: Diety that hangs out at barbeque's and around liquor stores. Loves to be praised with the opening of a cold brewski. Variation: Ghoombahism: Followers of Ghoomba

git: English term loosely translates into "Darkanda"

Groupie: A member who seemingly comes out of nowhere to defend an internet friend that is being justly or unjustly picked on or attacked.

H

hmmmmmmmm: Demonstration of thought.

hobosapien: Politically correct term describing one who prefers to live, not in a house, but in a box, or van down by the river. alt hobophobic (Fear of hobosapiens); hobosexual (one who prefers hobosapiens, sexually)

hypocrite: Member who professes one action or deed as wrong, but does the very action themselves. perfect example see Wez

I

Idiot: Member who lacks sufficient intelligence to coherently display any kind of rational thought process. Examples: Sixes; trademark; guitargis

J

Jailbait: see "Underage"

Justice: (1) When one receives their due consequences for wronging another. (2) The fake alias that one of our "former" members uses to check up on her ex and to see whether or not we are talking about her.

K

"K": The most interesting letter of the alphabet. Has great stealth-like qualities- just the addition of a "K" to your current alias apparently makes it appear as a whole new alias to admins

L

Lemonjello: leh-mahn-gee-oo (1) Urban legend name that no one has ever actually met someone being named. Instead, it is always someone a friend of a friend actually met once in an obscure place. Believed to be a twin of Orangejello oar-ahn-gee-oo (2) The name of Anabel's cat.

"logon": What a Member does to access the site to be able to post, make replies, check personal messages, etc.

"logoff": What some Members (those that tend to get to caught up in everything) need to do more often.

"LOL": this means "Laughing Out Loud," although generally not to be taken literally, this does mean that someone found something humorous.

"LMAO": this means "Laughing My Ass Off," or "Laughing My Arse Off" (English Term) although generally not to be taken literally, this does mean that someone found something more humorous than the standard LOL.

Lurker: Any of about 50 Members that check out 2thejungle.com at any point during the day, only to read what is going on. Apparently desires no real interaction with any other Members.

M

Margaritaville: A dumb song.

meh: translation: "Whatever"

Member: (1) A person who has created an account at one of the tri-sites. Specifically labeled per which site they are a member. Ex. She is a Jungle member (2) The part of the male anatomy that makes the girls squirm with pleasure.

N

netizen under trisite protection: Advanced stages of "Cry-baby"

newb: A new Member. not to be confused with n00b.

n00b: A non-new Member who is really stupid or has never learned how to properly function on the internet not to be confused with newb.

O

Occasional-Member Drop-in: An ex-regular member who occasionally visits the site. Their presence may be detected after clicking on the "Recently Replied" button on the home page only to see the first 15 results containing the newest comments by such people. See profiles for: eatmybubbles, Doheney, and Gallytuck.

P

Phreak: Derogatory term used to describe an overbearing, power hungry, or overbearingly obnoxious message board admin
Variations- Phreaky, Phreakishness, Cornholio.

Placental: See: Underage; Jailbat; Prostitot

Pointless Drivel: A members ramblings, void of point or reason. Often has magical effect that keeps some members coming around, even though they say they object to it.

Post: (1) A topic which has been entered into the website to discuss Known to some message boards as "threads," but "post" sounds less gay. (2) A straight piece of wood used for holding things up, such as a mailbox or a fence. Also, an item that some members need shoved up their ass.

Preemptive Replier: A Member who obviously and continually replies to posts without reading the other replies contained within that post. See: wildbob

pretentious jackass: One who things higher of himself than he ought to, and thus thinks many things that are about him, when they are not. (not necessarily male) See example here.

prostitot: An underage (see jailbait) female who dresses like a porn star, believes they are a porn star, and thinks they are 30. Usually identified by multiple photos and numerous updates on LSR's junkie site.

Pwned!! Similar to *zing, only much less cool. Said mostly by geeks, virgins, and 12 year olds.

Q

Question: (1) A form of communication useful for finding out information. Petitions for a reply. (2)Wez's method of answering a question. See: Pretentious Jackass.

R

rambler: A Member who says in 200 or more words that which could have been said in 10 or less words.

Random Member Drop-in: An not-really-ever-been-regular Member who occasionally visits the site. Their presence may be detected after clicking on the "Recently Replied" button on the home page only to see the first 15 results containing the newest comments by such people- many on posts that have long since dropped off the front page. See profiles for: DarkCrow, LoveOneAnother, Keepsake.

Red herring: (1) A debate tactic in which a bogus or irrelevant fact is tossed out to try to throw off the focus of the debate. (2) The bully in "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" (3) A type of fish, dipped in red paint.

Redneck: a Member from the backhills of any southern state (or state that sided with the south during the American Civil War.) Speaks with very heavy southern accent. Example here.

Reply: A comment to a post.

"ROTFLMAO": "Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Ass Off" or "Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Arse Off" (English Term.) Again, not to be taken literally, this means that the poster found something extremely funny. One can tell the level of funniness by the number of exclamation points that follow the term.

S

Singularity: One-man Sci-fi cult, not related to Scientology, where believers believe that they will one day be assimilated in to their computers and live forever. Its main philosophies are often ridiculed by members and non-members alike. ie: the entire human population, with the exception of one. Syn: pile o'crap; horse hockey; complete and utter b.s.

"69": Literally the Sixty-Ninth reply to a post. Refers to a sexual position. Started by SWYW'ers at saywhatyouwant.net as a sport to see who could get the ever popular "69", but since they haven't had a post get over 20 replies in months, it has pretty much died off. Not acceptable in the more serious posts at 2thejungle.com or in any post at unsolvedmysteries.com. In real life, yelling out "69" died off after 8th grade.

Shower Hooker: Prostitute that takes up office in a hotel shower. Less picky than regular prostitutes, but cleaner. Usually found only in hotels in cities where prostitution is legal.

Slit: (1) A hole that is taller than it is wider. (2) An immature reference to a Vagina. (3) What OJ did to Nicole's throat.

Smert: (1) Lack of intelligence. (2) An obvious incorrect spelling of "smart"

Strawman: A debate tactic used to change the subject or turn attention away from the main point. Generally useful when you are loosing a debate. Kind of like a red herring.

SWYWer: a creature dangerously close to extinction. Only a few known left in the wild- a cranky englishman, a computer geek, and a disgruntled preacher boy. Approach with extreme caution. Now Extinct- disgruntled Preacher boy only survivor, and he is now being nursed in captivity here at 2thejungle.com.

T

TATer: Member of the original theangrytruth.com website. Term of disgust for some, term of honor for some others.

tease: (1)Member who promises you nudie pics, but never delivers. (2) Member who offers up excellent idea for a controversial type post, but is to afraid to post it themselves.

tool: (1) A member that is used by another member for an objective that they aren't aware of. Kind of like how a hammer is used. (2) in BCAR-speak: a dick, a male organ hanging limp and useless, a term used by me on USM to describe people, that so far has escaped the censors even if I am the only one who knows the hidden meaning.

tri-sites: Usually acknowledged to be unsolvedmysteries.com, 2thejungle.com (formerly known as theangerpoint.com and theangrytruth.com,) and saywhatyouwant.net (formerly known as a happening place)

TRUTH: That which is, and always will be, regardless of what someone says or believes it is. (Capitalization of entire word highly unnecessary)

Turkey Slapping: Virginian term for being hit in the middle of one forehead with a penis.

Typical Canadian: Any obnoxious member who randomly appear on 2thejungle.comTJ to criticize the policies, politics, and general population of the United States. Usually recognized by their holier-than-though Canadian nationalism and nonsensical liberalism and their random singing of the song "God Save the Queen." See profile for: Gallytuck

weak comeback: verb: to show ones lack of verbal sparring eloquence with phrases such as "Your mom"; "I know you are, but what am I?"; or "I know what stupid is, I've actually gotten laid."

weed: (1) Where the lurkers like to hide- in the weeds of 2thejungle. (2) Condition of having too much pubic hair ie: She's gonna need a weed whacker for all that! (3) Marijuana

weepy vagina: A derogatory term, describing a member who is acting overly sensitive and touchy- much like a woman during her menstrual cycle. Very closely related to Cry Baby.

wez: confusing creature that speaks in mumbles and gibberish. Often in all capital letters. Ex: TRUTH

Wezdom: Opposite of wisdom (not to be confused with Wizdumb.) advice, input, and/or statements that must be repeated over and over and over in an effort to force members to pay attention. Members employing wezdom are severely lacking in communicative skills. These members also do not understand the concept of "Quality over quantity."

wezzed: slang term for account termination. ex: I got wezzed!

www.2thejungle.com: an internet discussion site, where members can join up and discuss all kinds of topics with each other. Much higher quality board than the other members of the tri-sites

Yahoo: An instant messenger, used mostly for talking about other site members without the admins being able to read your thoughts. also: AIM, ICQ, MSN

*zing: a form of verbal taunting, usually associated with extreme embarrassment on the targets behalf. To qualify for a proper *zing, member cannot give themselves a *zing, but instead one must be given by another member. Much classier than the popular (and overused) "OWNED!" or "PWNED!"

zzzzzzz: (1) Demonstration of boredom. (2) Demonstration of sleepiness, or in the case of Gallytuck- narcolepsy
